I gladly returned the glare, but then a smirk spread across her face. "Hey, Shika. Can I have a kiss?" She asked, which caused my anger to flare. She knew I liked Shikamaru, and she still asked him out a few months ago. She liked Sasuke, for crying out loud! Did she hate me that much that she would date my crush, just to make me miserable? Of all the things I regretted in my life, this has got to be the one I regret the most. Telling Ino my crush.
-It's a matter of time before we all run out, when I thought he was mine, she caught him by the mouth, I waited eight long months-
Shikamaru sighed and sat up straight before pressing his lips against Ino's lightly. "There. Happy?" He asked and laid his head back down. "Very." Ino stated and looked at me with a devious smile on her face. I shook my head and tried to hide my rage with a small smile before I stood up and walked out. Damn her! I sighed and looked out the window as Ino continued to talk, and Shikamaru nodded when nessecary. "That's nice." His voice came. "Yeah, Sakura's hair was a mess when we got the squirrel off her. She tried to chase after it." Ino said and crossed her arms over her chest. "Why was the squirrel attacking her in the first place?" I asked.

"Ino, can I talk to you for a second?" Shikamaru asked, standing up. Ino smiled and stood up as well, taking his hand. "Yeah, lets go." She said and dragged him outside. I sighed and laid my head down on the table, then looked at them through the window as they crossed the street.
